New Fair Plugs Gap in Market |
|
In response to demand from the market, the inaugural HKTDC Hong Kong International Home Textiles Fair, which is a spin-off of the hugely successful and well established HKTDC Hong Kong Houseware Fair, has been created to fill a gap and give industry participants more opportunities to boost business. The specialised sourcing platform for home textiles has attracted over 240 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions.

Glamorous Inspiration |

A special highlight of the fair is the Hall of Glamour – a premium section featuring quality exhibitors and textiles specially created to appeal to the high end of the market, with items such as bedroom, kitchen, interior, and bathroom textiles and carpets. Some of our key exhibitors include A-Fontane Co Ltd, Bontex Industrial Company, Delight Textiles Co Ltd and Sharda Exports.

Major home textile producing countries and regions are well represented with group pavilions, namely Bangladesh, Chinese mainland, India - including the EPCH (Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts) Pavilion and HEPC (Handloom Export Promotion Council) Pavilion, Iran, Korea and Taiwan.

Drawing Attention |
|
Fair-goers are getting the opportunity to see art in action with live painting performances taking place during the show. The colourful painting, in acrylic on canvas, is located at Hall 1C Concourse throughout the fair period; don’t forget to go along between 1-2pm today and tomorrow to watch the artist live - and during the final 20 minutes on both days you can even pick up a brush and add your own contribution!
