Marketing Your Houseware to the World
The HKTDC Hong Kong Houseware Fair is a truly international event, attracting suppliers and buyers from around the globe. As the largest event of its kind in Asia, it provides the perfect marketing platform for all manner of houseware products.

The 2012 edition featured over 2,000 exhibitors from 33 countries and regions. More than 26,000 buyers, from 132 countries and regions, came through the doors over the four days of the fair.
The visitor figures for 2012 showed an increase of 7% over 2011. Growth of buyers from markets providing the biggest growth in buyer included Germany, India, Malaysia, Poland, Thailand, USA, etc. These statistics provide evidence of a recovery in the global economy, with emerging markets performing particularly strongly, with buyers drawn to the fair to assess trends, stock up on the latest products and open up new markets.

Targeting the Right Buyers with Zones of Influence
The fair is a hub for the newest and hottest products in houseware. It is composed of theme zones that enable exhibitors to target large numbers of buyers that are right for them. While some zones focus on particular product categories – covering all the sectors of the houseware market, others put the limelight on creativity, designer collections, top trends and contemporary lifestyle choices.
Driven by Design
- Hall of Elegance features leading brands and designer collections, with a focus on quality, creativity and craftsmanship
- World of Fine Décor (NEW) is a new zone for 2013 that puts the spotlight on exhibitors specialising in premium home decoration items in a prime location in the fairground.
- World of Fine Dining turns the spotlight on the latest trends in tableware, kitchenware and bar accessories.
