“Happycall is the largest cookware manufacturer in Korea with an annual turnover of US$200 million. We’ve extended our product range to electronic appliances and cleaning tools. This is our third-year participation in Hong Kong Houseware Fair. Our top quality frying pans with titanium coating continues to be the highlight for promotion this year. We also take the chance to launch our new premium slow juicer in Asia. The response has been excellent. In the first two days, we’ve met at least 20-30 new customers from different places such as the Philippines, Iran and Israel. A screening process will be underway to ensure the quality of these new buyers before we conclude business. Many of our existing customers also visited us and all of them have already made orders for selected products. The total amount of orders has yet to be added up. Happycall is striving to develop into an international brand. This fair is the biggest of its kind in Asia and plays a key role in helping promote our brand globally.”

“Vidrios Reciclados San Miguel is the world’s largest manufacturer of 100% recycled glass products. We’ve been exhibiting in Hong Kong Houseware Fair for many years. This event provides a solid business platform for us to meet customers. Our eco-friendly recycled glass is well received by the market and we always develop new items to meet customers’ needs. We’ve achieved positive results again this year. A large number of buyers from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, USA, Canada and South America have expressed interest in our products. We’ve met 45 existing customers in the first two days and 35-40% of them already made orders. Some 40 new buyers have approached us so far and I believe 25% of them will place orders. Hong Kong is an international business hub and this fair attracts buyers from all over the world. The exhibition results are similar to last year’s success. We’re very satisfied.”

“In business for 30 years, Talleres Toyma is a manufacturer of houseware, kitchenware and bathroom accessories in Spain. We are now sourcing more new items from overseas suppliers to expand our product categories. I visited Hong Kong Houseware Fair for the first time last year and developed good business with four Chinese mainland suppliers. This year, I’ve come again to find more new suppliers. So far, I’ve found two suppliers, also from the Chinese mainland, for silicon kitchenware and food storage boxes. I’m placing orders for one container of items with each of them and the total orders exceed US$100,000. The exhibitors I met also said they have got encouraging results. Hong Kong Houseware Fair showcases the newest products and the latest trend of the industry. This is a great fair.”

“Established in 1992, Gála specialises in catering and event organising services for customers. We are visiting Hong Kong Houseware Fair for the first time to source kitchenware, tableware and catering equipment. This fair is huge and beautifully laid out. We’ve got in touch with some 50 exhibitors mainly those from Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland in the first two days of exhibition. Their products are very good in quality and available at competitive prices. Further communication will be carried out with them to finalise details. If everything works out smoothly, total orders will be worth US$200,000 or more. At present, we source products mainly from Europe and Turkey. The Hong Kong fair offers a good sourcing alternative for us.”

“Our company started to produce bath mats in 2007, with the US as our main market. We have been exhibiting at the Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair over the past few years. At this year’s fair, many buyers are interested in our memory foam bath mats which are ultra-soft, highly absorbent and anti-slippery. We have met with quality buyers who made serious enquiries about our product specifications, patterns, colours, packaging, minimum order requirement and delivery terms. The fair provides a good marketing channel for us to expand into markets such as Europe, Southeast Asia and South America. More than 10 buyers from Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico, Singapore and Taiwan have indicated their intention to buy our memory foam bath mats and each order value ranges from US$30,000 to US$50,000. We are very satisfied with the results so far.”
